Advantages of the ExtremeScreen (Max-Pro) Material

1) No Wind-whipping. All Vinyl Coated windscreens do not perform very well when tie-raps (fasteners) come loose and the windscreen is left to flap in the wind. The coating will crack and peel, and leave the raw polyester yarn exposed to exposed to the harmful UV-rays, and then deteriorate quite rapidly. Our Extreme-Screen/Max-Pro material will perform significantly better in this situation since it does not have any coatings to crack or peel.

2) Over time fabrics can absorb small amounts of water material and when it sits in the sun, the water then dries out called “wicking”. Vinyl Coated Polyester windscreens can and will wick over-time which is why after a number of years the windscreens will become brittle and weak. Since Extreme-Screen/Max-Pro is a Polyethylene is will not wick at all. So you will not have any “dry-rot” with this material.

3) For some reason Polyethylene material has always performed better in high winds. We believe it is because the surface is slicker or less tacky, and this difference in texture allows the wind to pass through the fabric a little easier. In addition, being a knitted product, each knit acts like a small micro-spring which gives the fabric a little more give than the woven products.

4) The top and bottom edge is knitted with a heavy duty selvage edge. This helps create an extremely durable reinforced edge that will provide much stronger holding power for grommets and ensure that the Extreme-Screen/Max-Pro has the strongest hem and grommets in the industry.

5) But the absolute best reason we believe this fabric is going to be extremely well received, is the longevity of Polyethylene is far superior to PolyProylene or the Vinyl Coated Polyester. As of right now, the best warranty in the industry is five years. Our Extreme-Screen/Max-Pro is backed by a seven year warranty.
